Prime Net Lease is a commercial investment real estate service firm specializing in single tenant net leased properties. Headquartered in Irvine, California, the firm provides a full range of brokerage services nationwide to a substantial and diversified client base, which includes high net worth individuals, family trusts, developers, REITs, partnerships and institutional investment funds.

Our primary focus is on net leased retail and restaurants, which are on a long term leases to well-established national or regional brands. Many of these are publically traded or have rated debt. They are located across the United States in major metropolitan areas, as well as strategic secondary and tertiary markets. Compared to other types of real estate investments, these assets provide investors with the greatest potential to generate consistent and predictable income and the opportunity for appreciation.

Over the last 16 years, Prime Net Lease advisors have been involved in nationwide transactions with the most recognizable brands in the industry. Our past transactions include fast food national brands such as Arby’s, KFC, Pizza Hut, Dairy Queen, Burger King, Wendy’s; sit down restaurants such as TGI Fridays, Marie Callender’s, Applebee’s; quick serve marts such as 7-Eleven, Circle-K and larger retail stores such as CVS Pharmacy, Walgreens and Shopko. Additionally we have been involved in a multitude of transaction with local and regional brands. Paul R. Matusik

Paul R. Matusik is the founder and Director of Investments for Prime Net Lease.

Paul began his commercial real-estate career in 1999, after attending California State University, Northridge, where he majored in Economics. Initially specializing in multifamily properties in Pasadena, California, he quickly became a market-share leader in the local multifamily market. And yet, as his career progressed—and due to client demand—he began to focus more on 1031 exchanges, shifting from multifamily properties to single-tenant and multitenant NNN properties. Today, over 90% of Paul’s nationwide commercial real-estate transactions are NNN leased transactions and his national client base includes high net-worth individuals, family trusts, developers, real estate-investment trusts, partnerships and investment funds.

Moreover, the extensive role Paul has played as a real-estate broker as well as an investor has educated him on all aspects of commercial real estate. His vast experience has also allowed him to play an active role in commercial real-estate marketing, negotiating, financing, management, leasing and sales.

Since 1999, Paul has represented clients in over 310 transactions, worth over $400,000,000. He is known for his honesty and integrity—principles that allowed him to retain so many repeat clients.

In his spare time Paul enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, mountain biking and traveling.
